TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games
Joined with colleague to function as exclusive sponsorship sales agent and consultant for Toronto 2015 Pan American Games. (September 2012 – May 2013)
- Wrote a games business plan to raise $110 million in sponsorship revenue.
- Worked with the Organizing Committee Senior Executive to acquire the Games first two sponsors resulting in a record breaking 40% of the sponsorship revenue target being achieved in one year.
- Assisted the Organizing Committee in hiring the roles of Vice President of Sponsorship Sales and Director of Sponsorship Sales.
Director of Sponsorship Sales, VANOC
VANCOUVER 2010 Olympic Winter Games
Domestic Sponsorship Sales was VANOC’s largest revenue source. Over $750 million was raised in Canada making it one of the most successful domestic Olympic Games sponsorship campaigns. (March 2005 – March 2010)
- Responsible for the program’s overall planning and execution which included the development of sponsor rights and benefits, individual account strategy development, prospecting, leading sales presentations, and finalizing contractual agreements that delivered this unprecedented revenue target.
- Worked closely with the International Olympic Committee and the Canadian Olympic Committee in managing all aspects of the sales program. Over five years with VANOC, hired and led a team of five Sales Professionals who collectively acquired our roster of over 50 sponsors.
- Wrote the Tier II and Tier III sponsorship business plan that was approved by the VANOC Board of Directors and formed the foundation of our program’s success.

LONDON 2012 Olympic Summer Games Bid.
The contest to host the 2012 Olympic Summer Games has been described as the most competitive bid in the history of the Olympic Games. (October 2003 – October 2004)
- Responsible for raising the 10 million British pounds ($18 million Cdn.) in sponsorship revenue required to stage the bid and wrote the sponsorship plan for the bid book.
- London won the bid on July 6th, 2005 with 54 votes cast in our favor on the fourth ballot, beating out Paris, Moscow, Madrid and New York for the right to host the Games.

VANCOUVER 2010 Olympic Winter Games Bid.
Over 200 Canadian and International companies sponsored the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games bid and contributed to our victory. (July 2002 – July 2003)
- Consulted with the Bid Committee on sponsorship matters and acted in a sales capacity to help raise a portion of the $17 million of sponsorship revenue required to stage the bid. Advised the Bid Committee on the sponsorship plan for the bid book, which I returned to direct and manage at VANOC in 2005.
- Vancouver won the bid on July 2nd, 2003 with 56 votes cast in our favor on the second ballot, beating out Salzburg and PyeongChang for the right to host the Games.

Member of the management group that introduced an expansion NBA basketball team and built a new 20,000-seat arena in Vancouver in 1994. (1994 – 2001)
- Continued with the company, Orca Bay Sports and Entertainment and later Hoops LP, for seven years in different senior management and sales roles including Director of Business Development for the NHL Vancouver Canucks and Director of Business Development for General Motors Place.
- Relocated with the Grizzlies to Memphis, Tennessee in 2001 and helped re-launch the team in a new market. As Vice President of Business Development for the Grizzlies, I directed all sponsorship, broadcast and luxury suite sales with annual revenue budgets in excess of $9 million.

The XV Commonwealth Games were held in Victoria, British Columbia in August 1994 with 3,200 athletes from 62 nations competing in the largest event to take place in Canada that decade. (1991 – 1994)
- Signed 36 of the games 116 corporate sponsors and was part of a team of four Sales Executives who raised over $30 million in revenue.
