Book: Confessions of an Olympic Torch Relay Shuttle Host

Screen shot 2013-09-01 at 7.26.59 PMIn the Winter of 2010 I had the honour of traveling from coast to coast to coast for 4 months accompanying the Olympic Flame across Canada. I chronicled the journey for the interest of the 300 staff that worked with me on the project and the 12,000 Torch Bearers.

This book gives an insiders perspective of the relay from the point of view of someone sitting in the back of the bus. There were so many great and really touching stories that came out of my shuttle bus during the “pick ups” and “drop offs” of thousands of Olympic Torch Bearers. Lots of drama, and lots of tension, charged with passion and good old Canadian pride. With a story behind each Torch Bearers 300 meter run.

Confessions of An Olympic Torch Relay Shuttle Host (December, 2010, Fraserblurb Book Publishing) shares some of these great stories.
